Here's wishing everyone a Happy Chinese NEw Year!
I've been so busy that I've haven't gotten much time to blog and mop about stuff I guess. It's a good thing! I'm out there enjoying myself, rather than coped up at home writing about stuff that doesn't really matter :P
Oh yeah, for my bros out there. Here's thanks in advance :P

Totally. Ridiculous.
You noticed the new green colour sign above the MRT train seats?
The one that says "Priority Seats"
You can't imagine the effect it has on people.
The purpose? To instill some sorta.. Courtesy into people.. And it's just utterly twisted.
It's either:
1. We have given up hope that Singaporeans will ever be polite people
2. It's twisted.
I hope it's the second one.
Let's review the logic behind. You're sitting down and you see someone who NEEDS it more than you do. You stand up, you give up your seat. That's courtesy.
Now? It seems like ONLY that particular seat is RESERVED for people whom NEED it.
Why do I say that? People AVOID sitting there, so as to PREVENT THEMSELVES FROM HAVING TO GIVE IT UP. Totally twisted. To save face? To.. save energy?
It's just totally ridiculous. Or MAYBE. The previous sign didn't have any effect, to the extent that they want it this way. To make people reserve a particular seat for such people. WTF?
As if the yellow line isn't bad enough. The one you're susposed to stand behind? Yeah, don't fret it, now you know where your place is. Know your role, and shut your mouth.
